The Amazons trace their lineage from the extensive family of British rock groups, this band from Reading stands out thanks to their always epic yet playful sound. Established nearly ten years ago in 2014, the band’s music has been welcomed not only by the British press (NME, The Independent, BBC Radio 1 etc.) but also by chart success, notably a very respectable number five spot for their third studio album, How Will I Know if Heaven Will Find Me?, released last September. We can get a taster of their performance skills by listening to their live album Come the Fire, Come the Evening (2018), which presages many good things for Rock en Seine festival goers. Just like their single Ready for Something, we are so very, very ready.
