With the release of her debut EP just around the corner, Tessa Galli is aiming to shake up the French music scene with her electro-pop/indie influences, which she has been shaping in her bedroom in the Paris suburbs since she was a teenager. She began composing, writing, recording and arranging her own material at the age of 12. Accompanied on stage by guitarist and sound engineer Théo Giann, this 19-year-old artist’s recipe is clear and simple: effective melodies, powerful bass, swaggering percussion and heartfelt lyrics carried by a wide range of voices. Pop culture mixed with electro sounds and indie structures characterise Tessa Galli’s music, not forgetting her hybrid side inherited from artists such as Christine And The Queens through the use of French and English in her writing. This freshly-released menu has already won over its audience, and at the helm of her project, Tessa Galli takes her listeners where she wants them to go, to the brink of tears as much as to the foot of her universe.
