Make the crowd dance, let the imagination run wild, give improvised concerts and share every musical style we’re into (techno, trap, house, drum and bass, dub, and even a pinch of jazz, rock and funk). That pretty much sums up the objectives Spoink’s four musicians gave themselves when they formed four years ago. That’s why this Parisian four-piece with the Pokémon-inspired name specialises in improvised electronic music. This means that every single performance is unique, created in real time and dependant on the reactions of the audience, full of surprises and unexpected developments. Once again, Club Avant-Seine has discovered a great band we’ve surely not heard the last of.
