How do you hide dark circles under your eyes after partying into the wee hours? The four members of Premier Métro have an infallible trick: they generously apply glitter under their eyes. This is how we find them in the music videos for La Nuit and Pour quelques secondes, unveiled in 2022, after Train fantôme and Jusqu’à la mer. The band perform their inaugural tracks with conviction – a marriage between the Eighties and today that might remind you of The Weeknd or Flavien Berger. Their first compositions are barely a year old, crystallising various fascinations for drum machines, retro synths, the French language, the immediacy of pop and the mirages of electro. This is the birth of a Parisian quartet who are boarding for a long journey.
