At the end of August 2016, Pogo Car Crash Control, a group from Greater Paris’s Seine et Marne area, were giving a punchy performance on Rock en Seine’s Ile-de-France stage right before the release of their eponymous debut EP. Seven years later, they’ve become a regular fixture on the French punk-metal scene and they’re back at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud with their augmented discography comprising three albums with French rhyming titles: Déprime hostile (2018), Tête blême (2020) and Fréquence violence (2022). We welcome not only their high-energy music and invigorating concerts, but also their commitment to encouraging women to play music and take their place on stage. Their bassist, Lola Frichet, has launched the association More Women on Stage, with the aim of supporting women in the music industry.
