Last year Noga Erez collaborated with Missy Eliott and Weezer, released a cover of Lil Nas X and supported Florence + The Machine at Madison Square Garden. All these good things really boosted the international career of this Tel Aviv native who’s signed to the amazing City Slang label. Here’s hoping there’s no loss of momentum on her journey to the top because her music is genuinely worthy, as proved by her first two albums: Off The Radar (2017) and Kids (2021). Bouncing between pop, groove and hip-hop, this thirtysomething brunette brings to mind M.I.A.’s mixed styling, however, she also counts two other hybridization and creativity champions as influences: Frank Ocean and Björk.
