Barely thirty, Flavien Berger is a musician who excels in creating hybrid sounds. Impossible to pin down, he’s a multi-faceted artist who sings, composes and plays many different instruments. Nothing is impossible for this Parisian master who fuses electro, French chanson, pop, psych and soundtracks – he’s composed several for film and television. His peers often seek him out to round out their sound, like Etienne Daho, Pomme, Maud Geffray and Rone. Since releasing Léviathan in 2015, several albums and EPs have expanded his ever-increasing repertoire. The brilliant D’ici là, a single introduces his new album, Dans cent ans, released this year on the Pan European Recording label.
