Led by Margaux Bouchaudon’s pure vocals, this mixed French five-piece has its roots in many places across the globe: Paris, where they were established; Brussels, location of their favourite bar whose waitress inspired their name; and even Chicago, home of Trouble In Mind, the label that was clever enough to sign them. They’ve already got three albums on their unpredictable CV and they never stop reinventing themselves every time they hit the studio. Their versatile music is reminiscent of Stereolab, Beach House and Electrelane, sung in English, punctuated with doubt and melancholy but also with the hope and lightness that occurs when the sun breaks through the clouds. In just a few years these young musicians have become a solid reference on the Paris indie scene.
