The French underground scene definitely knows what it’s doing. Overflowing with stimulating melodies and brazen energy, the pop-punk duo Ditter immediately sweeps us up with their first single Vibrato Bz Bz Blop, an unpronounceable, petulant inyerface song released without warning at the beginning of the year. At the helm is singer Rosa (also known for her other music project, Denys Roses), and on frenetic bass and very much her equal is François (from duo Supreme Love Affair). Between them they dispense glorious joy, their sheer pleasure from playing music is transmitted directly to their listeners, and when on stage, to their audience. Their contagious extravagance and corrosive humour can’t hide the quality of their songwriting. We can’t wait to see more!
